Verb requirement

 Verb Requirement অর্থ হলো Verb এর প্রয়োজনীয় word/phrase. এই অংশটি verb এর বক্তব্যকে পুর্ণ করে । যেমন : Riaz likes football. 

এখানে football শব্দটি না লিখলে Verb likes এর অর্থ পূর্ণ হয়না। Verb Requirement তিন প্রকার। তাই Requirement কি হবে তা নির্ভর করে verb এর ধরণের উপর। যেমনঃ

(a) Transitive verb + object: Runa lost her pen.

(b) Intransitive verb + Adverbial: I walk in the morning.

(c) Linking verb + complement (noun/adj/adv): He is a teacher. He is good. He is in the class.
