Irregular or strong verbs
Irregular বা strong verb বলতে সেই সব verbকে বোঝায় যাদের past ও past participle গঠনের জন্য ed/d যুক্ত করা হয় না। যেমনঃ Base past Past participle blow blew blown cut cut cut drink drank drank eat ate eaten get got got/gotten এই verbগুলীর past বা past participle করার সময় কতিপয় নিয়ম অনুসরণ করতে হয়। যেমনঃ i. কিছু irregular বা strong verb এর present, past এবং past participle একই form হয়। যেমনঃ Base past Past participle bid bid bid cut cut cut hit hit hit read read read put put put ii. কিছু irregular বা strong verb এর past এবং past participle একই form হয় না। যেমনঃ Base past Past participle arise arose arisen bear bore borne come came come do did done go went gone iii. কিছু irregular বা strong verb এর past এবং past participle করার জন্য vowel change করতে হয়। যেমনঃ Base past Past participle get got got behold beheld beheld dig dug dug run ran ran sit sat sat iv. কিছু irregular বা strong verb এর past এবং past participle করার জন্য vowel change সহ শেষের consonant ও change করতে ...
