  Pre modifier is a word or phrase that is used before a word or phrase to supply information about the word or phrase. For example: He was  very  strong. In this sentence, ‘very’ is a pre modifier because it comes before ‘strong’ and adds to its meaning. The following are used as pre modifiers.   Sentence connectors এর অপর নাম হচ্ছে Linking words. যার সংজ্ঞায় বলা হয়েছে, “Sentence connectors are used to link ideas when writing. They enable the writing to flow from one idea to the next in a logical and cohesive way.” অর্থাৎ, লেখার সময় বিভিন্ন ideas বা বক্তব্যকে যুক্ত করার জন্য Sentence connectors ব্যবহৃত হয়। এরা লেখাটিকে একটি বক্তব্য থেকে অন্য বক্তব্যে যুক্তিসঙ্গতভাবে ও অখন্ডভাবে যেতে সাহায্য করে। এই মন্তব্যটি বিশ্লেষণ করলে দুটি বিষয় উঠে আসে। 1. Sentence connectors ব্যবহৃত হয় লেখার জন্যে । 2.
