Summary writing এর জন্য সবচেয়ে বেশি দরকার প্রশ্নে প্রদত্ত Textটি ভালভাবে পড়া এবং সঠিকভাবে বোঝা। তারপর প্রশ্নে প্রদত্ত বিষয়ের উপর কয়েকটি sentence এ passage এর সার সংক্ষেপ লিখতে হয়। তবে Summary writing এর ভাব এবং ভাষা সম্পূর্ণ নিজস্ব হতে হয়। কিন্তু আমাদের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা reading and writing এ দুর্বল হবার কারণে নিজস্ব ভাব ও ভাষায় summary লিখতে পারেনা। তাই তারা Text থেকে কয়েকটি sentence অপরিকল্পিতভাবে তুলে দেয়। এতে summary writing এর মান বজায় থাকেনা। তাই summary writing এর উদ্দেশ্যে sentence লেখার অভ্যাস করা উচিৎ। নিচে summary writing এর একটি সহজ পদ্ধতি দেখানো হলোঃ The easiest Process of Writing Summary 1.
