Participle

 Participle means the form of a verb that usually ends in ‘ed’ or ‘ing’.

It is used: i. to form some tenses ii. as an adjective iii. as an adverb

Non finite participles never form tenses.They function either as adjectives to modify nouns or as adverbs to modify verbs.

Participles are of three types. i. Present participle ii. Past participle iii. Perfect participle
