Present participle

 Verb + ing adjective বা adverb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হলে তাকে Present participle বলে।

Function: Present participle sentence বা clause এ কয়েকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

i. Pre-modifier adjective: I can chase a running horse.

ii. Post-modifier adjective: The girl standing in the garden is Mila.

iii. Pre-modifier adverb: Working hard, you can succeed.

iv. Post-modifier adverb: I went there walking.
