Prepositions of movement

 

Prepositions of movement অর্থ গতি প্রকাশক prepositions এই prepositionগুলী গতি প্রকাশ করে এমন verb এর পরে এবং place noun এর আগে ব্যবহার করতে হয়। 

to: দিকে/প্রতি/কাছে Hassan went to school.

Boy going to School
 

through: মধ্য দিয়ে I went to Chittagong through Dhaka.

 Through Dhaka

 

across: ওপারে – She walked across the road.

 

Walking across the road. 

into: বাইরে থেকে ভেতরে- I brought a book shelf into my reading room.

Bringing the table into the room


along: সোজা- Samira was walking along the road.

Walking along the road

 

up উপরে- A boy climbed up the tree.

down: উপর থেকে নিচে- Bonya came down the roof.

over: চলমান অবস্থায় উপরে- A plane flew over our house.

off: দূরে-Dina went off the shore.

round: চারিদিকে- The earth moves round the sun.
