Prepositions as adverbs

 

Some prepositions can also be adverbs. অর্থাৎ,কিছু preposition কে adverb হিসেবে ব্যবহার যায়।

preposition হলে এদের পরে noun থাকে।  

Examples: Preposition + noun- outside the room, up the hill, behind the wall

adverb হলে এদের আগে Verb থাকে এবং পরে noun থাকে না।                   Examples: Verb + adverb (two words verb) – go outside, walk up, lag behind
