Farewells

We bid farewells at the time of departure. We use different expressions at different times of the day.

1. Any time of the day and night: Nabil: Goodbye.
Asif: Goodbye.

Or

Nabil: See you. Bye.

Asif: Bye.

Or

Nabil: Bye then, friend

Asif: Bye Bye.

Or

Nabil: So long.

Asif: Bye Bye.

Or

Nabil: I'm afraid. I must be going now.

Asif: See you later. Bye.

Nabil: Bye Bye.

Or

Nabil: I'd better leave now.

Asif: Nice meeting you. Goodbye.

Nabil: Good bye.

2. From evening to midnight:

Nabil: Goodnight, Asif.

Asif: Goodnight, Nabil.

Or

Nabil: Thank you sir. Goodnight.

Asif: Good right.

NOTE: 'Good night'used farewell at night not for greeting.

'Good day' used for farewells in the morning not for greeting.
