Assertive sentence

 Assertive sentence হলো বিবৃতি বা বর্ণনামুলক sentence এটি কোন বিষয়ের উপর সাধারণ বর্ণনা প্রকাশ করে।

এই sentence এর দুটি সাধারণ pattern আছে। যথাঃ

i. Subject + finite verb —–. : I went there yesterday.

ii. Introductory adverb + finite verb + subject + adv: There was a farmer in a village.

Examples: 

1. Education is necessary for all.                           2. We live in Bangladesh.                                         3. There are six seasons in our country.             4. Mandela hated race apartheid.                        5. An honest man must not tell a lie.
