Noun Clause

 onstruction: That/ Wh word + (Subj) + Finite verb + ——–.

Example : 1. We know that Bangladesh is a south Asian country. 2. What he said is true.

Function : Noun clause এর কাজ Noun এর মতো । একটি Noun যে রুপে ব্যবহৃত হয়, Noun clause ও সেরুপে ব্যবহৃত হয় বলে এর নাম Noun clause । যেমনঃ

i.Subj: That he is honest is known to all.

ii.Object of vt :He saw what happened.

iii. Object of preposition: I can depend on what he said.

iv. Complement of LV: He is what he was.
