Co-ordinate Clause

 Co-ordinate clause ও আসলে main clause. এর শুরতে and, but, or, so, therefore ইত্যাদি থাকে। তারপরও এর অর্থ স্বাধীন থাকে। যেমনঃ I went out and came back.

Co-ordinate clause দ্বারা compound sentence গঠন করতে হয়।

Note: দুটি clause এর Subj যদি একই হয়, তবে দ্বিতীয় clause এ Subj আর লিখতে হয়না। যেমনঃ He studied well but (he) failed.

এই নিয়মকে বলে parallelism

      Examples: i. Bina reads books and writes poems. ii. The poor people work hard but cannot earn well. iii. Ria sings and dances.
