Changing voice

 Voice change করতে হলে প্রথমে প্রদত্ত sentence টির voice চিনে নিতে হবে এবং agent ও object খুজে বের করতে হবে। তারপর প্রয়েজনীয় pattern এ sentence টি সাজাতে হয়।

Active – passive Non – agent subject (obj of active) + be verb (according to the tense of active voice) + past participle ——-+ (by/prep + agent)

Example: Active: They finished the work in time. Passive: The work was finished in time by them. Active: I sent him some money from Dhaka a few days back. Passive: He was sent some money from Dhaka a few days back by me.

Agent subject (by/prep + agent in the passive) + (primary/modal auxiliary verb according to tense) + principal verb (tense form) + obj (Non – agent subject in the passive) যেমনঃ

Passive: Bonoful was written by Tagore. Active: Tagore wrote Bonoful. Passive: Telescope was invented by Galileo long ago. Active: Galileo invented Telescope long ago. Passive: Bonoful was written by Tagore. Active: Tagore wrote Bonoful.
