Interrogative pronoun

 Interrogative pronoun is a pronoun that introduces a question.

অর্থাৎ Interrogative pronoun হলো এমন pronoun যা দ্বারা কোন question সূচিত হয়।

ইংরেজিতে মোট ৫টি Interrogative pronoun আছে। যথাঃ

who, whom, whose, which, and what.

Who is he?
What did you do then?
Whom do you want?
Which is the road to the railway station?
Whose is this pen?

আবার Whose এবং Which determiner বা adjective হিসেবেও ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে।

সেক্ষেত্রে এদের পরে noun যুক্ত হয়ে ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমনঃ

Which house does he live in?

Whose pen is this?
