Infinitive

 Infinitive is the basic form of a verb that usually follows ‘to’. We have got three types of infinitive. 

i. Full infinitive: 

infinitive: to + verb She came to meet me.

ii. Bare infinitive: Let me go.

iii. Perfect infinitive: I was really exhausted to have finished the task.

infinitive phrase- নিম্নোক্ত উপায়ে গঠিত হয় এবং verb এর উপর ভিত্তি করে অর্থ হয়। যেমনঃ

To + verb1 + — verb এর অর্থ + তে – to catch fish – মাছ ধরতে, to play football- ফুটবল খেলতে
