Indefinite pronoun

 Definition:

Indefinite pronoun is a pronoun that refers to an unspecified person or thing.

অর্থাৎ, অনির্দিষ্ট কোন ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে বোঝাতে যে pronoun ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাই হচ্ছে Indefinite pronoun

এর মধ্যে রয়েছেঃ

quantifiers (some, any, enough, several, many, much);

universals (all, both, every, each); and

partitives (any, anyone, anybody, either, neither, no, nobody, some, someone).

Many of my friends are unwilling to join the party.

এই sentence টিতে Many হচ্ছে Indefinite pronoun

আবার অনেক Indefinite pronoun determiner বা adjective হিসেবেও ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে।

সেক্ষেত্রে এদের পরে noun যুক্ত হয়ে ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমনঃ

Many people can not afford to educate their children.
