Gerund

 Verb + ing Noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হলে তাকে Gerund বলে। Gerund Noun এর মতো sentence বা clause এ কয়েকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

i. Subject: Walking is good for health.

ii. Object of transitive verb: He stopped writing.

iii. Object of preposition: I came for meeting you.

iv. Complement of linking verb: His duty was reading the meters.
