Future tense

 এখন থেকে পরবর্তি সময়ে যা ঘটবে তা Future tense ।

Present ও past tense মতো এই tense কেও চার ভাগে ভাগ করা যায় ।

Future indefinite Tense

i.Definition: এখন থেকে সামনে যে কোন সময়ে ঘটা সাধারণ কাজ ৷

ii.Scope: ভবিষ্যতে ঘটবে এমন সকল সাধারণ কাজ ৷

iii. Indication: tomorrow, the next এবং ভবিষ্যৎ নির্দেশক সকল সাল, সময় বা ঘটনা ।

iv. Verb form: S + shall/will + v1 +—-.

v. Examples: a. I shall meet you tomorrow. b. He will return from America in 2025.

NB: 1st person এর সাথে shall এবং যে কোন person এর সাথে will ব্যবহৃত হয় ৷

Future Continuous tense

i. Definition: ভবিষ্যতে যে কাজ চলমান থাকবে।

ii.Scope: ভবিষ্যতের চলমান কাজ বা ঘটনা ।

iii. Indication: ভবিষ্যৎ নির্দেশক যে কোন সময়, কাজ বা ঘটনা ।

iv. Verb form: S + shall/will+be+ v1 + ing +—-.

v. Examples: a. They will be playing. b. She will be reading.

(c) Future Perfect tense

i.Definition: একই বাক্যে বলা ভবিষ্যতের দুটি কাজের মধ্যে আগে সংঘটিত হওয়া কাজটি।

ii.Scope: ভবিষ্যতের দুটি কাজের মধ্যে একটি future indefinite বা present indefinite এবং অপরটি future perfect

iii. Indication: future indefinite present indefinite future perfect clause before/ after দ্বারা যুক্ত থাকে ।

iv. Verb form: S + shall/will + have + v3 +—-.

v. Examples: a. you will have returned before you will leave/you live.

(d) Future Perfect Continuous tense

i.Definition: একই বাক্যে বলা ভবিষ্যতের দুটি কাজের মধ্যে একটি চলমান।

ii.Scope: ভবিষ্যতের দুটি কাজের মধ্যে একটি future indefinite বা present indefinite এবং অপরটি future perfect continuous tense.

iii. Indication: future indefinite present indefinite future perfect continuous tense এর দুটি clause before/after দ্বারা যুক্ত থাকে ৷

iv. Verb form: S + shall/will + have +been + v1 + ing +—-.

v. Examples: a. I shall have been reading before you come.  b. Rima will have been waiting before the train comes.
